Dry Pro™ Pro-pump

Waterproof Cast / Bandage Protector

Keeping your cast dry. Thanks to the Dry Pro Pump.

The Stay Dry Pro Pump offers the only leg and arm cast protection in the world with the patented vacuum seal to keep your bandage or cast dry.

It is so completely and totally waterproof, between the waterproof latex and the vacuum seal, that you can even dive off a diving board or ride the ocean waves and still have your cast stay completely dry.

The Stay Dry Pro-Pump cover fits snugly yet comfortably against the skin offering cast protection during showering, bathing, swimming or any other water activity. Unlike "modified garbage bag" products, the limb protection offered from the Stay Dry Pro™ Pump Dry Corp is unmatched, it cannot slip off. You can't even pull it off!

Allows Post-Operative Hydrotherapy
The Stay Dry Pro-Pump is also used for immediate post-operative physical therapy, allowing hydrotherapy right after surgery, which helps prevent swelling and stiffness and aids in a speedy recovery. The Dry Pro™ Stay Dry is used by professional and collegiate athletes alike to speed up recovery after injury.

The Stay Dry Pro™ Pump by Dry Corp is Completely Watertight Keeping your Bandages, Prosthesis, and Casts Dry.

How To Get Measurements for the Stay Dry Pro™ Pump by Dry Corp

1) MEASURE OPENING

ARM: Measure the circumference of the arm just above the cast or bandage (If the end of the cast is very close to the elbow, measure mid bicep.)

DO NOT MEASURE AROUND THE CAST MEASURE AROUND THE SKIN

LEG: Measure the circumference of the leg just above the cast or bandage (If the end of the cast is very close to the knee, measure mid thigh.)

Choose a waterproof cast cover that is at least 1 inch SMALLER than your measurement.

To create a good vacuum seal the opening of the cast sock needs to be smaller than your limb.

Measure circumference of limb for your cast sock.

2) MEASURE LENGTH

ARM: Measure from the tip of the middle finger to the top end of the cast or prosthetic. If the cast goes above the elbow, follow the bend of the arm.

LEG: Measure from the back of the heel (from the floor) to the top end of the cast or prosthetic.

Choose a waterproof cast cover that is at least 2 inches LONGER than your measurement.

Don't worry if the Stay Dry Pro™ Pump by Dry Corp waterproof cast cover is too long. The excess material of the cast sock will flatten down when the air is pumped out.

Measure length from tip of middle finger to end of cast for your waterproof cast cover.

Instructions For Use

1. Slide on the protector - Try the Dry Pro™ Stay Dry on your good limb first. Only if the Stay Dry Dry Pro™ feels too tight you may trim the top slightly to increase the opening size. Do this little by little until the opening is comfortable, but still smaller then the limb. Now Stretch on the Stay Dry Pro-Pump waterproof cover so that it completely covers the cast or bandage plus an additional inch. The top should be smooth against the skin.  Be careful of sharp objects. A fingernail, sharp fiberglass threads on a cast, can rip the cover.

*Putting a soft ace bandage or a tube sock with the toe cut out over the fiberglass cast will help reduce sharp fiberglass threads from cutting into the Stay Dry Pro-Pump waterproof bandage cover.

2. Pump out the air - Continue to press the bulb until it remains flat and the Stay Dry Pro Pump waterproof cover is completely wrinkled. Remove the pump and push on the safety cap. Observe the Stay Dry Pro Pump waterproof cast and bandage cover for a few minutes before going in the water. As long as the waterproof cover stays collapsed and wrinkled, the vacuum is intact and the bandage protector cannot leak or come off.
3. Slide off - When you are done using the Dry Pro™ waterproof clothing, simply lift up the cuff to let the air back in. The Stay Dry Pro Pump waterproof bandage cover should now be loose. Simply slide it back off.

Note - Do not leave on for extended periods of time. We recommend removing it after every 45 minutes of use. Do not use in vascular compromised patients. Steady yourself in wet slippery areas. The Stay Dry Pro™ Pump by Dry Corp cast and bandage protector contains natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions. Always follow your doctor's advice.
