The ASO (Ankle
Stabilizing Orthosis) fits easily into an athletic or street shoe.
The ASO ankle brace is made of thin, durable ballistic nylon, the
same protective material used by law enforcement and military
personnel. Superior ankle support is achieved through exclusive
non-stretch nylon stabilizing straps that mirror the stirrup
technique of an athletic taping application. The calcaneus is

What Gives Here? Athletic tape can stretch, or "give",
after some wear time and does not recover. The ASO, however, has
non-stretch straps that can be retightened anytime, without even
removing the shoe! Utilizing the ASO versus tape during the course
of a season, especially during practice sessions can result in
considerable cost savings.
